“Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. “Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. ”

“Asta and Jon provide an amazing accommodation, and recommendations for your stay in Iceland. The property isSuper conveniently located near Reykjavík.Well appointed and comfortable living arrangements throughout the property.Absolutely discover the walking paths that will lead you to a beach.What else can I say about the property? “Lovely, welcoming apartment, easily located & accessed with the directions given. Kitchen well equipped, bathroom great, bed extremely comfortable. Would happily stay there again.”

“Large, beautiful, comfortable house, with stunning top floor and family-size hot tub. Perfect location. Only 15 minutes from the countryside, and 45 minutes from Thingvellur.Property manager gets extra thanks for replacing the house key after we accidently locked ourselves out.Only downside was that master shower didn't work, and other two showers were small. Obviously, this may be fixed already, as I write this.”

“The accommodations were excellent. Great location. However, if you’re going to charge top dollar, I would have liked to see a few more amenities. For example, there should be tissues & paper towels available. And the bathroom towels should be replaced. They felt old, not soft & not very absorbent. An investment in higher quality towels goes a long way. Overall it was a nice property, spacious, comfortable and met our needs. ”
