"The bunk bed is made of wood, when the guy above me moves or coughs the bed would shake. I couldn’t sleep. The staff gave me an upper deck bed. Other than this everything was fine. "

"The staff is extremely attentive. I needed help using the washer and dryers very early in the morning, but the gentleman at the front desk took special care to drop what he was doing and aid me in getting my laundry completed properly. He was a life saver! They keep this place immaculately clean and orderly. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t think twice, just do it."

"Considering the price point and location, our stay was excellent. Having read previous reviews I was scared of lack of cleanliness. However, it is not very dirty. We found no bed bugs in our beds and our room was well-kept and cleaned before we arrived. Since it is a hostel (and not a resort), we had no housekeeping and had to share bathrooms but we knew this before booking our stay. The shower for women specifically is actually quite nice with provided shampoo and body wash. Unfortunately...

"Had a wonderful time staff is absolutely fantastic. The place is clean safe and very friendly. The beds are comfortable. Didn’t care to much for the blackout drapes ( I like total darkness when I sleep) these are see through a little. The bathroom and showers are clean private. Will stay again . The staff really makes the difference you can tell they take pride in there work o lots of steps have a bad knee but pushed through keep in mind with large luggage.. staff helped an old man out .....

"Very friendly hosts who are multilingual, my Japanese isn't very good but the staff was able to communicate in English and help me find tickets that I ordered online. Our plane was also late coming in but we were able to arrange self check-in for when we arrived and sorted out the details in the morning. Thank you again!"

"What can I say. It’s like living in a Japanese beach house. Totally awesome. The staff is now considered friends. And the residents are great group of people. I was looking for a place to slow down and save some money for my travels and this is the place stayed 3 months and had beach days every day. "small but well designed hostel with excellent location. everything works except….noisy guests there is no enforcement of noise in the bunks, its a typical problem with many non-japanese guests who stay in groups (not solo). they talk loudly (couples or groups taking single bunks) totally oblivious to all the rest of people sleeping. yes, and they use the hair dryer at midnight, and thats not all…"

"Very near international street, location is superb, but also very nosie during night time even after 12am. Only 2bathroom and 2shower on the floor, sometimes need to wait if too many people, though they are very clean. For the bed is really hard, not really sleeping well, most of the people seems long staying there. Anyway, the staff are very nice"

"Friendly, helpful staff- I believe most of them, or maybe all, can speak English as well as Japanese. A shared common room area with a fridge and cooking facilities. Beds were okay- at least the privacy was decent. It felt like a capsule hotel- but to be expected for the type of hostel. "The super plus point for this hotel is its convenient good location, just right behind the main International street. However, not many local people can help you locate this hotel even if you show them the hotel address in the booking slip, which is a big surprise for me as it took me quite a bit of time when i first arrived before i can find the hotel. "Location and accessibility is so convenient! Right next to American Village and Sunset Beach. We loved everything about our stay. My kids especially enjoyed the pajamas for the whole family. The laundry facilities were great as well. We didn’t get to enjoy the onsen because of our tattoos, but I think it’s such a nice touch for anyone able to use it. "

"This hotel is conveniently located next to Makishi Station where you could easily catch the Yui Rail to the airport or other major stations. It's also at the end of Kokusai-Dori street where you could find a lot of food and shopping options. The staff at the reception were full of smiles and very friendly when checking us in & out. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. There was also fresh water/towels provided daily along with awamori and ice cream at the second floor. It was a lovely stay throughout!"
