“Fantastic location (babbling brook served up calming water sounds and a few trout). The house has a well-loved yesteryear vacation home vibe--comfortable, easy, a little quirky in a good way--with wonderfully contemporary attention to 21st century appetites (good wifi, big smart TV(s), easy to navigate kitchen, sectional leather couch that could probably accommodate 11 people). Host was friendly, gracious, helpful, and proactive. Definitely hope to return.”

“My wife and our grown daughters and spouse and significant other plus a nephew and uncle all stayed at the house. Plenty of space and amenities. We used the jacuzzi on the deck each day and enjoyed a small fire in the fireplace! The garbage center was convenient and located on egress road allowing for easy deposit when driving out. The kitchen was well stocked which was an added plus being we ate meals in for the weekend! Took less than twenty minutes to drive over to Shawnee Mountain. The……

“We all had enjoyed a very long overdue relaxing time. It was perfect. Quiet, comfortable and peaceful. The only thing we could complain about,(and we’re not), was the fireplace didn’t really work but that didn’t keep us from enjoying ourselves. Will be back again!”

“Newly renovated property that is well maintained with all the comforts of home. All rooms and amenities were well stocked. Host was very responsive to all our questions. Check in/out procedures were a breeze. Host even surprised us with a bottled of champagne on ice, champagne flutes and a balloon bouquet. Really started our honeymoon on the right note . We will definitely be spending our 1 yr anniversary there. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!!!”

Slight hiccup with the address because 19 Fawn Road isn’t identified by any street markers, instead the residence mailbox reads a different address. “We had such a great time. The cottage was cozy, warm and private. The fireplace was romantic for our valentines weekend. The pond was very nice to hear the sound of the river. Communication with the staff was easy and the respond very quickly with any information we needed. We will be back with the whole family in the summer. We highly recommend the cottage. Ty ”

“As the only hotel in Hackettstown, I've stayed here several times during my kid's time at Centenary University. It was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, with one trip having uncleaned vomit in the hotel elevator the entire stay. However, the hotel has significantly improved, and the last two trips have been pleasant, with clean rooms and updated bedding. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous, the beds are comfortable, and the location is convenient.”

"I stay here 3 day 2 night. First was starting great front desk was nice, in the morning I was pumping , the door was open from the cleaner, ask are you leaving??? But that is very I'm professional and no privacy. How can you open the door, but 2nd morning they do the same thing again. I don't think it is okay. This really need to change it. The 2nd day end up they didn't clean the room or provided any thing change , I was trying to request in the front desk. It takes me to call them and wait for 15 min. And longer. I try to reach them for 2 hours I have to go to front desk to ask, You have this big hotel to run and no one answer the phone?? I request the towel and it was not bring it after anyway. So for the price I spend. Is not very happy. Otherwise the food everything is fine "
