"Great location right in the centre of Phu Ly and with a lovely view of the river which was really pretty at sunset. The room was very clean and modern, with a great shower. The buffet breakfast had lots of choice, with eggs and pho cooked to order. The pool was great. Everyone at the hotel was really kind and friendly, especially Linh and Anh on reception. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was probably the best in the local area, however while it was acceptable, several items would not make it an easy choice to return. The hotel was often full of smoke, a good portion of the beds were extremely hard. the Traffic noise from outside was disturbing. the Breakfast was restricted and very average. The breakfast is delicious- try the banana pancakes and lunch and dinner options were great too. The staff was so helpful. Duy and Tri helped with our transportation and tour bookings. "We loved Nin Binh and the Emeralda was our favorite hotel… we took 2 tours that we booked directly through the hotel, and they were awesome! Our guide was Dung, for both days, and he was great. We also booked our transportation to Hanoi through the hotel and it was very nice! If you think you want a massage, book early! We only got 1 out of 3 attempts because we tried to book to late."

"We absolutely loved our stay at ChezCao Rice Field Ecolodge! The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great selection of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The view of the rice fields was simply magical. Unfortunately, the cloudy and cold weather meant we couldn’t use the pool, but that didn’t take away from the experience. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Ninh Binh!"

"We enjoyed our stay, the grounds and personnel were fantastic. We stayed in a quaint bungalow with a wall that was the actual rock so when it rained, this adjoining room got cooler and humid. We discovered a good gap in the screen where mosquitoes could enter but the issue was quickly and effectively fixed. Restaurant was great and the buffet breakfast was fulsome and varied. We would be happy to return. "
