Location was great and the accommodations were comfortable. Very close to marina for some fantastic red snapper charter trips and nice golf courses down the road. Thank you for hosting!!!

Linemans landing

Wonderful 4th of July

Our family had a wonderful trip; our 1st time staying on the bay side and we actually now prefer it! It's the best of both worlds! The house is within walking distance to the beach. Quiet street; clean house; plenty of restrooms; spacious!

The wrong door code was sent when we arrived. Took several phone calls to get the proper code. There were ants in the master bedroom. We went without air conditioning for two of the days. Other than that, the home was roomy and the view was nice. There is no water access from the home except an old boat launch. Fairly comfortable.

Lineman's landing

The unit itself, was very nice and clean. You had everything that you could think of to need. BUT the listing itself was incorrect. There is no shared pier. There are private property signs posted on the pier and we had to call to confirm. We were highly upset because that was our sole reasoning for booking this place, as we love to fish. The other reviews stating the beds are horrible, are correct. All beds, including the couches. . The beach is on the other end of the street, with about a 5-6 min walk.

Family Vacation

The location is great! If you are looking for quiet away from the Gulf Shores crowds, this is the place. Yet quick and easy walk to the beach or a local restaurant (Tacky Jacks). The house was stocked with everything. Two things that I recommend to the owners and management. 1. New mattresses. The ones currently in use, you can feel the springs and are not comfortable at all. 2. Management/cleaning needs to take more time in cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms. I had to buy some cleaning supplies to clean them as they had a strong smell of urine.

We enjoyed the house but there were a couple issues. First, it would have been nice to know a house construction site was right next door. Some days the noise was significant while other days the noise was minimal. The noise on the weekend (Saturday thru Monday) of our arrival was the worst, the rest of the week was tolerable. A notice of construction next door on the house listing would have been most helpful. Second, we found a large cockroach in the hall bathroom. Other than these two issues, the house was great. Clean and tidy. Thanks for letting us stay there. The four out of five rating is merely because of the two issues listed above.

Great Home.

It was a great place as far as location…however we did NOT have any internet service for 2 days and missed football games on Saturday and NFL game on Sunday. Also, could not work on any of my stuff for my college classes. Someone came out on Sunday and said something was cut underneath the house…. No one ever came but in the middle of the night the internet began working mysteriously. Then a few days later the tv froze and would not do anything. The plug was behind the tv that was located above the fireplace so we had to blindly unplug and plug back in to reset it. Also, there was a huge black cockroach in the hallway that scared me to death. Other than those things the stay was fine.

Lineman’s Landing “Lovin’ It”

We had a great time with beautiful bay views!! The front & back porches had wonderful views & plenty of seating. We really enjoyed the underneath of the house with the picnic tables & full shower for after the beach. The house was perfect for our family stay. We just wished the weather could have been as perfect. We will defiantly use this property again if available in the future!

Beautiful house

This is a beautiful house! Lots of room, inside and out, plenty of seating and sleeping room for a large group. Beautifully decorated. Awesome views from the front and back porches. Great location. However, the decor does not cover up the maintenance issues. The house seems to have had water damage, soft spots in the floors, musty smell especially in the master bath. The master bath door will not close. The mattress is the master bedroom is not comfortable. No TV in any of the bedrooms. Some of the pictures in the listing are misleading. The listing should disclose that there is a house being built next door. The construction crew arrived promptly at 7 am and started work. Also, I asked the management company what type of coffee maker was in the kitchen (my husband is very picky about his coffee). They told me they "looked at the pictures in the listing and there is a Keurig on the counter". So I brought our regular coffee maker from Georgia, to find that there is also a regular coffee maker sitting on the other counter, that there is not a picture of.

Line’s Landing get away

We enjoyed our stay. It was spacious, but for two refrigerators being there no icemaker, no coffee pot the refrigerator quit working the air quit working. We would greatly appreciate if someone would knock some of the nails down in the decking, so our feet would not step on them. The master bedroom bathroom door would not close. Also, there was mini mini ants in the rooms. it would be nice if the remote batteries worked we had to go get more so we could watch TV.

My family and I loved the stay at Lineman's Landing! The sunrise and sunset views from the front and back porches were spectacular! It was clean and quiet. The only con is that the bed in main bedroom was a little “springy” but that won't stop us from going back. Many memories were made! ♥️

Our Family Vacation

The rent house was very roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed our time on the back patio. We saw so many pelicans. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. The house was well equiped with essentials. The only drawback was that the ice machines did not work (we just bought ice) and the beds were very uncomfortable. New mattresses are needed. Thanks for a lovely time!

Excellent Renovation!

I remember this house from decades ago! The new owners did a fabulous job of renovating it. Really beautiful, well stocked, classy and very comfortable. The porch is excellent, perfectly oriented to sunsets and a breeze off the Bay. Great parking underneath house and everything we needed. Thank you!
