Good location
The area was great for proximity to the beach, restaurants and the hangout. The only bad thing I can say about the place is the door lock. You plug in 10 numbers and if you are not fast enough, you have to start over, frustrating., otherwise a great stay.

Wonderful location. When we arrived to enter our room, keypad wasnt working but i called vacasa and a most friendly and helpful person remedied the problem Would definitely recommend this location.

Very close to everything. Very convenient. The only complain we have is that, upstairs renters were loud. You could hear their steps, pulling chairs, running. This happened every night. 12am, 1am, 2am. They did not seem to rest. I don't mind at day time but at night, it was inconvenient for us. Maybe make suggestion or put a note or something about giving a little consideration for downstairs renters. But other than that, it was a nice place.

Love the area. Great location for beach and Shrimp Fest. This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this room. Much improved from last year.

Grear Place To Stay
It is a great place to stay for a fair price. It doesn't have an elevator though. Not a problem for us but could be for others. All in all, it is easily comparable to the newer, more expensives condos. Just as good, and we loved it.

Upon arrival the light in the kitchen did not work. There was no hot water. The air conditioner was very noisy when it was running. Twice we were locked out of our condo because the key code did not work. Our vacation was not as pleasant as we had hoped. My husband was able to get the kitchen light working and figure out the problem with the hot water heater. Being locked out of the condo was a bi hassle. We love the Ocean Reef condo units. This trip was not so pleasant.

What I needed and wanted
Outstanding location, on the beach, at a light on the boulevard. 2 trivia items - the week's parking is now $30, cash only, not $20; and I couldn't get the bedroom TV remote to work. Overall - everything that anyone could need or want in a place to stay, convenient to everything in the region. Gulf Shores banned alcohol on the beach, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

Needs maintenance
The place was clean and has great access to the beach. But it is need of maintenance. The doors on the closet were off the track and left sitting on the floor, the furniture was old and several chairs were broken leaving us (only a family of three) to share a tiny love seat to sit on. The front door would not lock or close so when we left the apartment we were left to hope no one broke in and took our things. The door would just blow open with the wind. We called no one came to fix it. The place is clean and that was nice but it was incredibly run down, patches and holes in the walls and outlets and the blinds were bent and broken. We loved the access to the beach and city but they really need to do some basic maintenance.
