"the rooms were very clean, lot or hooks and bars to hang things on. also 2 luggage stands to put both peoples luggage on and a lot of room in the room and shower/bathroom with an outside garden shower.Also a lot of electical outlets,way more than normal costa rican hotels. shelves and hangers what more can you ask for. They only have 5 rooms but owner is building 4 more as I write this."

The property was great - reasonably priced, nice breakfast, clean, colorful and located very close to Barrio Escalante - great coffee and dining options. The train ran by during the day and early evening but didn’t bother us. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely return!"

"The building itself is nice but it is in need of a restoration. My room was spacious, but the beds were saggy and there's no air conditioner. The curtain does not cover the window completely so anybody in the hallway can look inside which is strange. They do have a strict rule of not allowing guests into the hotel. On a side note, they don't give you hand towels unless you ask for it. On the whole, my stay there was just ok, nothing really good or bad, that's the reason for an average rating."
