"We loved staying here. More spacious than most properties for 2. Very warm and even has an area where we could get our clothes dry from the trip to Forest Lagoon, which is super close by the way. It had all we needed, except for a microwave oven, which I believe is a must. But we managed. Space may be a bit reduced, but that is expected in an accommodation for 2. We loved having a living area as well. Close enough to Akureyri and great spot for a stop before continuing on ring road. "

"It was ‘not to bad’ overall except that there are too many flies in the house, I would attribute this to the season. Clean but quite a cold house to stay in, strong wind from the mountain behind it penetrates the logs and I feel the heating is not efficient and sufficient so it felt cold for a visitor coming from tropical countries. "House was clean and very spacious. Plenty of heat and hot water. Being right on the water was wonderful. We used the hot tub almost every night. Our first night there, a pod of whales swam by while we were in the hot tub. Grenivik is a lovely location, a quiet town about half an hour from the city and all its amenities.
