"Ski trip. Room is clean, compact, and comfortable, and a 1200 ft walk to lifts. Property is older but well maintained, and rooms are updated. Walls are a bit thin but place is quiet at night. Don't expect 4-star luxury, the place has a ski-lodge vibe including a common "living room" space upstairs. Refrig in room was appreciated. Easy parking in front of hotel building. Restaurant and pub across parking lot are only dinner options, but are good and average priced. We would stay again."

"I went snowboarding with my son and a couple of his friends. This location was very convenient in relation to Crystal Mountain. The hot tub in the back yard was a game changer for us! The kitchen and washer/dryer were very useful. Tim was a responsive host. Good communication and very helpful. Would stay here again!"

"This cottage is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Some highlights that made it a wonderful place to stay: a comfortable bed, a fully-stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook our meals, a large shower with rainfall showerhead, an electric fireplace that provided heat and atmosphere, a huge screen and projector for watching movies and TV, a "Movie Hut" with hundreds of DVDs and Blu-Rays to choose from (along with TONS of board games)...the list goes on. The cottage was...

"Great location, about 20-30 minutes to the Crystal Mountain resort. Property had everything needed for a comfortable stay, including an amazing Ninja coffee machine - a great way to start the day before hitting the slopes. Also a fireplace with plenty of firewood provided, though there are heaters throughout the cabin, so the fireplace is more for entertainment purposes. Very impressed with the water heater, providing hot water very quickly and for a long time. Very responsive and accommodating...
