Summer Retreat
Walkout basement apt with large covered patio that looks out to large yard and small pond. Very peaceful and quiet. Secluded safe area where we loved watch deer families everyday. Hosts were so kind, made our stay special. Great place for grandparents with visiting grandchildren. Can walk to greenway trail and BurMill park to play Pickleball and swim. Apt had everything we needed for a 3 mo summer stay. Great location!

Amazing Peaceful Retreat
This was our second year in a row, and I can't say enough. Ellis and Helen are amazing host. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on their deck, such gracious hosts. Property is it's own natural oasis to relax and enjoy. There are so many parks, restaurants and sites to see, wether music, nature, antiques, dining etc, it's all here. When you come back from an adventure you have a peaceful place to relax. Cook your own meal and sit outside with nature and enjoy. We have decided as long as this place is available it will always be our first choice in the Greensboro. 💕

Wonderful apartment for two
We rented this apartment for our son and his partner over the Christmas holidays when our house was too full for everyone. It was perfect for our needs. It is roomy for two and has everything they needed. The hosts were quick to respond. We will definitely rent it again should the need arise.

Great location and setting, right on all the best bike and walking trails Greensboro has to offer! The property was very clean and comfortable. We were there during a very unusual cold snap… it was 6 degrees F out and the unit was toasty warm! The hosts are interesting and awesome folks and we will certainly visit again!

What an amazing place to stay. Helen and Ellis were so accommodating and very nice, inviting us to dine with them. Apartment was inviting, cozy and serene. The view of the pond with wildlife everyday was amazing. We sat out in the chairs every evening and watched the critters and stars. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in or near Greensboro. Everything was close, yet we're were hidden in nature. We will be back everytime we go to Greensboro. Just incredible!!

Great location - close to beautiful trails, nature, and parks. Overlooks a small pond on a shaded porch with peaceful rocking chairs. Owners are as communicative as needed and care about your experience. Amenities are perfect for 1-2 people, providing a comfortable sleeping arrangement and basic housing needs. A few notes for consideration are the number of bugs present and the overall cleanliness of the apartment (e.g., dusty appliances, dirty stovetop, etc.). Additionally, bring basic bathroom needs - hand soap, toilet paper, and toiletries. This was a great place for temporary housing as I relocated back to Greensboro!

Wonderful place
We so enjoyed staying at Ellis and Helen's apartment. It was just what we were looking for. A nice quiet place with a view of a calming pond. To add to the experience some Canadian Geese made an appearance and showed off their goslings. The apartment was easy to enter with no stairs to navigate and plenty of room in the dining and living room. A fully functional Kitchen made it easy to stay in for meals. The bathroom entrance was a little narrow but accessible. We were able to relax and unwind for the entire stay. Ellis and Helen are great hosts and made it a wonderful place to stay.

This property is in a great location for anyone who enjoys walking, hiking, running, or biking. It is in a lovely neighborhood with great access to Greensboro's many miles of greenways and trails. The view of the pond is lovely and the apartment is also very clean, nice, and well-equipped.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is very good if you want to be on the North side of Greensboro. It is in the close to Bur-Mil park (which also has a Par-3 golf course) and in the very back of a quiet wooded neighborhood with only one entrance,. Yet, it is only two minutes to U.S. 220, a major north-south artery. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered patio, looking out on the little lake, is very relaxing, interrupted only by an occasional plane flying nearby. Helen and Ellis were very nice and made us feel at home. This basement space is a very cozy and functional apartment for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable and we used the very nice sofa bed when our granddaughters slept over with us.
