The house was gorgeous, but it was advertised as a 5 bedroom and there was only 4. I think the realty company handled it very well and I feel that the owner was not open with them about not having the 5th room done. This caused a huge problem for us as it made my adult children sleep in the same room as their young children and one set of adult children to sleep on a VERY uncomfortable futon under a bunk bed. The bunk beds in that room were SO loud squeaking the entire night long that we could hear them in the other bedrooms. The squeaking was unbearably loud, and my adult kids were unable to sleep all night and he worked during the day without sleep. I called several times asking about the 5th bedroom because there were no pictures of a 5th bedroom and each time, I was told yes there's definitely 5 bedrooms. We were given a refund of some money for this, but no one could sleep in that room with the kids moving all night. Adults should not be expected to sleep on bunk beds. The linen package that I paid $300 extra for only came with sheets. The young lady who answered the on-call number was going to come out at like 11:30 or midnight to bring us towels and washcloths. I told her no I do not want her driving at night with all the deer so please wait until morning. This made it difficult for us but kept her safe and she was SO accommodating saying "really, it's no problem!" Safety 1st! The last problem we had was I still don't understand the HOA ruling that only 8 out of the 10 people that were allowed to stay in the house for the week were allowed to use the amenities even though I was paying $50 a week for them and had already paid my money for the house without being told of this new "rule". Houses should ONLY be advertised for 8 people or informed up front of this policy! I would NEVER have rented this house if I had known. How do I choose who can swim and who can't? It's not fair! Bad enough I was charged for my 2 little ones and when we went to the Marina, I was told that I didn't have to pay for them, they were free. Lea Anna even purchased me 2 week passes for them to get all 10 included! Thank you again Lea Anna! We LOVED the house, amenities, marina, restaurant, and all the ponies and pony festivities but... we shouldn't have had to have all those problems. It was a beautiful experience house but disappointing issues. Thank you to all the support and help the realty company gave to us! We were given a partial refund on the house, too!
