“The cottage is in a quiet location in walking distance of places of interest. It has an imaginative use of space and interesting touches. The bed was very comfortable with good bedlinen. We found it a bit small and rather cold when we arrived. The heating did improve matters eventually but we were pleased to be only there for two nights. “A property with an old world elegance. Checkin was exceptionally easy. We found we were upgraded to a spa room which was more spacious than expected. We ended up with a 2 bathroom suite with a sitting room. Bed was comfy and the bedroom cosy on a cold night outside. Little things needed maintenance - a dripping tap, one TV didnt operate, nor did one air conditioner, but when you have 2 of each what does it matter? We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and comfortable. Thank you to the staff.”
