"Last minute booking for 1 night, as got tickets to a gig at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. Absolutely loved this hotel. Quirky, clean, comfortable and the little cocktail bar off the lobby is gorgeous. Staff all very friendly. The hotel was full, so parking wasn’t a bit of a pain. I wasn’t aware you can book parking at time of booking, so would recommend doing this. £15 a night from memory. "

"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

Slightly inconvenient that you have to call the management company 1 hour in advance ilof arriving so that they can send an agent with keys; I would have preferred an access code sent electronically. Only one negative was we found a sealed new packet of cigarettes in the bed side table and there was a beer bottle on the balcony with cigarette buts in but other than that everything was clean and tidy."
