"Loved the location of this property. Beds were comfy and rooms were quiet. It was very convenient having coffee, tea, ice and water available at all times. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed are stay very much and will stay there again. Very close to Bar Harbor. They offered a shuttle to town if you didn’t want to drive in. We had breakfast delivered to our room every morning! Adam was a great property manager."

"The staff was incredibly friendly. The location was for convenient to downtown restaurants, and close to a hiking trail. I wish I had done more research on the particular room we stayed in. I thought we were staying in the main house, which I liked the aesthetic of more. The Rocklynn is basic in comparison. But that's my own fault for not doin the research. "

"We had a very enjoyable time. The hosts were excellent and responded to our requests quickly in text. We kicked off a fire in the pit,quiet, and place was very clean. The reason for the 4 stars is it is definitely an older property (1950s) and the beds were super firm. We plan to go again but try the individual canins. we found the beds super firm. "We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him."
