Fishing trip
Great location and the cabin is set up really well for families or friends. It served as a great home base for the three lakes fishing tournament.

Easy access to west side of RMNP
Very nice place to stay during our trip to RMNP. Lots of room with a nice outdoor patio. VERY close to main road and park access. This was a plus for early morning entry for day hikes but did add more traffic noise while out on the patio than we anticipated. Walkable to downtown and nice grocery store. We had small problem with hot water heater when we were there. Property management was VERY responsive and fixed the issue in less than 2 hours. Great kitchen (I wish I had 2 sinks at home!) Lots of little luxuries on the site that really made for a quality rental.

Had a great stay!
My fiancé and I had a great relaxing weekend at this cozy cabin. It felt like a home away from home. Comfortable beds and couches and plenty of DVD's to choose from on a snowy day. The decor was fun to look at and the area is just beautiful. You are a 2 min drive from the main drag which offers great restaurants (Sagebrush was great for casual dinner and there was a NY bagel place we enjoyed for breakfast). 5 minutes drive to the west entrance of RMNP. For a couple city dwellers, it was exactly what we needed for some peace and quiet.

So Cool!
This property was one of the most uniquely appointed (in a good way!) properties I have stayed at in a long time. Location was super convenient to town. We certainly enjoyed the outdoors while visiting but it was so fun to come back to this property in the evening and enjoy the very cool interior décor. This property really enhanced our trip!

Our Stay
Cute eclectic cabin. Liked the kitchen and deck! Close proximity to town but not walkable with kids due to having to walk w/o a sidewalk. Cabin was hot, even with our high being around 72 degrees- due to not good cross ventilation and no AC. We did use all 3 fans. Maybe consider split systems of AC. Internet service inconsistent. When it rained 1 night, there was a small leak that appeared to be coming from the fireplace chute. We put a pot to collect the water. We did enjoy our stay, however the price per night, in our opinion, was high for the level of accommodations.

A Cabin, in Town!
Overall, this property worked very well for our family and we would rent again. The bunk beds are ideal for travelling families. Its right on the outskirts of downtown for a short walk or quick drive to all of the restaurants, shops, and lake. It's also very convenient to get to the RMNP entrance just a few miles down the road. The porch was big and inviting. There are stone steps to navigate to get to the front door from the parking. Inside has all of the necessities and it was clean. Just a few random fixtures to navigate around and figure out, but not easily removed like steps to the locked loft space.

Poor housekeeping
Arrived to unwashed pots, pans, and grill. No response from Sky Run. Need to upgrade knives and dishwasher may not be working properly. Excellent decorating and comfortable beds. This is a property management issue, not the owners.

Unique cabin
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. Loved the reclaimed wood and rustic metal. Very close to Grand Lake, which is a lovely, quaint town MUCH nicer than Estes Park. Only minutes to entrance of RMNP. Cabin was a bit cluttered. Shampoo and soap were poor quality, no conditioner or lotion provided. Overall, very enjoyable but would require better quality amenities for 5 star rating.

The cabin was a perfect place for my wife and me in our short stay in Grand Lake. Comfortable beds, nice deck and firepit, lots of character. Easy check-in and check-out, great communications and value-adds from the property manager which we used for free bike rental in Winter Park.

Unique architecture super close to town
Beautiful home very close to town. Deck overlooks a go cart track that was a bit noisy at times but not for too long. Would be nice if owners could clear out a bit more space for visitors. There was no place to really put luggage or food in kitchen as owners possessions fill up most of the drawers, cabinets, and closets. A bit cluttered feeling. But a very unique and beautiful home very close to town. We tend to prefer a cleaner and more organized aesthetic and this home feels a bit messy and cluttered with the owners possessions but did not ruin our stay. We still really enjoyed it.
