「We stayed for 2 nights and in 2 rooms. Very friendly and welcoming staff accommodated our luggage immediately upon arrival. Very clean rooms with all kitchen stuff needed. All dishes and cutlery like new. We were very impressed with our stay and the services provided. Thank you Quintessence Hotel, for making our stay in LA so enjoyable!!! 「Super beautiful property at the top of Laurel Canyon. Wonderful host in a perfectly sized apartment in the back of a home. I am consistently in the Los Angeles area and this central location is perfect for my needs. I believe the host, Stephen, is very intuitive in the needs of his guests. I did worry that my ins and outs being at early morning and late night, at times may have been inconvenient to my host but am grateful for the stay.」

Despite being in a busy area, we found the nights to be peaceful and had undisturbed sleep. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, including beach blankets and bikes, which made our stay even more convenient. The host was responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.」

「I arrived at the property and there was noone there. Mind you I had paid 110 for a Lyft to get there. I had to find other arrangements in Castaic which cost me more money. I finally got my money back. Please dont book this property. 」

「The house is in a fantastic location! Very nice, safe area. Quiet, beautiful property and great communication with the owner/property manager. House is a little dated, but the price is right and I really think you can't beat this location if you want to bring your family to Universal Studios. Would definitely stay again!!」

「Pros: The location is great. Right by the Peterson Automotive museum, the Academy museum of motion pictures, LACMA, and The La Brea tarpits and museum. The house was spacious. Check in was easy (though the cleaning people were still there at 7:30 pm when we arrived).
