The cabin was fantastic. The location is really close to a bunch of great trails and only a short drive to Lake Louise and other beautiful sights.

The perfect cabin!

We LOVED this cabin! It felt like the perfect summer retreat. The cabin was cozy, spacious and had a wonderful grill, super comfortable beds, lovely views. We melted into wonderful family time. We went to the suggested spots- the Burgess Shale Hike, which was one of the trip highlights, Emerald Lake, and the Skybridge at Golden. Fantastic cabin- we highly recommend!

Very clean and spacious. The owner communicated very well by email in advance. The water pressure from the shower was quite weak but it was understandable considering the location. Overall it was great.

A Great Place to Hang Out

Two couples stayed three nights and found everything excellent. The cabin is large enough for 5-6 pax and offers enough room to spread out. The full kitchen was spotless and we have enough cooking utensils and sundries (though with only 4 wine glasses, we had to be extra careful!). The wall furnishings merit special mention, with authentic First Nations weapons and Old West-themed items, plus a few taxidermy examples, really adding to the atmosphere. The gas grill was spotless and we used it three nights running. The grill doesn't cook super hot, but otherwise was fine. The location is 20km outside Golden and 40km (in the other direction) from premier Yoho NP attractions. We would all happily stay again!

Great place to stay for visiting Yoho Park

Perfect location for spending time in Yoho park. Golden is also close by and so is Banff. Would stay again.

Needs work

The cabins are cute, but overall cleanliness is at about a 3. Toilets and beds are clean, but lots of cobwebs and disorganized in the kitchen. There was no power when we arrived, and for nearly the full day on our last day. Check in process is easy, as there is no contact required with any admins, but this makes it difficult to voice any issues or complaints. The area around the cabins is great as you're close to Golden and the Yoho Valley National Park. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but will not be returning to Yoho Chalets

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Beautiful place + location!

The cabin was the perfect amount of space for 6 of us. The loft had a double bed with 2 single beds and a bathroom and bathtub as well. Downstairs had a bedroom with a double bed right off the kitchen. It worked well for our group of friends and also would be great for a family. Will definitely come back again!

Prefect view

It’s a cute little cabin with its own characteristics and you gotta enjoy the nature. Favorite was sitting outside under the sun and listening to music or walking around to enjoy the beautiful nature.

Home away from home

Julie Y. A lovely, spacious and warm chalet, with a well equipped kitchen for self catering. It was well positioned to give a sense of seclusion while being a short drive to nearby towns and sites. A great place to relax after a day of hiking.
