"Beautiful view. Hard to overstate how gorgeous it is. Host provides a lot of helpful mod-cons that we didn't expect. Only major issue is ticks! If you bring a pet, do not let it stray from stone driveways and make sure it's up to date on preventive meds. Our (always leashed) dog must have brushed some high grass on walking trails on property and had more ticks on her than I have ever seen at once. "

"The area and location is semi-secluded and close to the state park. The property is clean and well maintained. The outside furniture is unwelcoming and needs to be upgraded. The bedroom does not have heat so it gets alittle cold. Overall the place is nice but overpriced based on what is provided. "

"Had a wonderful weekend trip with my boyfriend and our dog. Clean house with all of the amenities. Short ride to Aurora (cute small town) and 1/2 hour to Ithica (hiking and city). Corner store and a couple of wineries nearby. Would definitely stay again when we can use the lake, but enjoyed the sunsets and beautiful mornings. "

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."

"The house was beautiful. It was large enough to easily accomodate 8 adults, 1 toddler and one small dog for 4 nights. We made use of the fire pit and the hot tub. We cooked dinner at home each night and there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils and everything else the kitchen needed to have. "It is a great location rain or shine. The central living room is undersold online as we have had groups as big as 7 indoors all day due to rain without being on top of each other. Everything you need for your stay is there, and if it isn't Mary is able to help. Really a great little spot to relax and enjoy yourself. "

"We stayed here for a birthday wine tour. Host was very responsive in preparing for our stay. The location and property of the home are fantastic, located in a very private lot with nature all around. We did encounter a bat in the house the first night, but had no more trouble after escorting it out. The house itself is very nice, kitchen is well equipped and comfortable. The home did feel more suited to our group size (8) vs 10-12, seating in the kitchen and living room may get a bit cramped...
