I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. "The property was in a lovely quiet location, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Great communication with owners Matt & Abby and very welcoming when we arrived. "It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "

"We had a lovely stay, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location for us was great, if you like walking then highly recommend. Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. "Photos and description don't do it justice. What an absolute delight and beyond. Furnished like a show flat but it's the little detauls that really make this: the cotton buds/pads in the bathroom, cereals in the cupboard, milk and yoghurt in the fridge... I was here to work on some writing and it was pretty ideal. (I think Agatha Christie might approve.) You can go into Wells for wonderful food and enjoy the walks. The staff here is truly lovely. "
