A little disappointed
WIFI password was not on the refrigerator as in the check in email listed. Also, no starter shampoo/conditioner, no black washcloths, fitted bed sheet wouldn't stay on and stains on pad underneath, and many light bulbs burnt out.

biggest pro here is proximity to gatlinburg strip and the hiking trails. biggest con is the view off the back deck. not the best. if youre looking for clear views of the smokies, this is not your ideal place. Its still a nice place overall though. Some critiques: needs some attention to the curb appeal. bulbs were out in the master bedroom and on the deck. outdoor fireplace wouldn't turn on. Not sure if gas was turned off or not. bathroom tub had a contstant leak from the faucet. mattress wasnt the worst I have ever slept on but for sure not the best. Cool shower. a little challenging to figure out the hot water controls but a nice shower for two. it is NOT a sauna FYI. Overall I would give it an A-/B+ For the price per night I was hoping for some better views. 2 nights was over $700

Great smoky experience!
Great place to use as a central operations site to visit the smoky and Gatlinburg, the pictures of the cabin fall short on it, making a very good surprise to arrive to the cabin.

Wonderful property! Had everything we needed to have a great romantic Anniversary stay. The shower is Amazing! The outside deck area was very relaxing along with the hot tube! The only thing I would suggest is some blinds over the windows next to the door so the neighbors can’t look in on you. Thanks for letting us stay!

True mountain experience
The cabin was exactly as pictured and described. It was clean and ready for new guests. The porch, hot tub, and shower were definitely the highlights. If you do not like driving up steep mountain sides without guard rails this is not the place for you! It is a true mountain experience from the drive up and even the parking was pretty steep angles. Sierra was very easy to contact and quick to respond. If we ever had the opportunity to come back, just the two of us, we would definitely stay here again.

Black bear ridge was a great get away for my wife and I. The cabin was accurately described in the listing. The view from the porch was amazing especially for morning coffee. Neighborhood was quiet. Only small issue we ran into was getting connected to the WiFi. Not a big deal the host was extremely responsive. No complaints with black bear ridge would 100% stay again.
