Great nature getaway
Overall great experience with our rental, communicate well in advance as understandably Dan will not always be able to reply as promptly. Enjoyed the creek/swimming hole. No surprises and our cabin was very private and enjoyable.

There are roosters that go off at 4 AM. There’s a wood burning stove that holds playing-card size pieces of wood that you are asked to pay $5 for the privilege of chopping yourself. The sheets smell like a man’s oily scalp. The site looks like a refugee camp, with scattered buckets and piles of wood and hand-made signs asking guests to park a quarter mile down a gravelly unlit hill.

Wonderful off-grid experience! Gardens and goats and great people! Have a reliable vehicle that can handle the road conditions. Do your research. Be prepared for the journey.
