"We had a wonderful time staying at this little ranch home. It was clean, cozy, plenty of room and a beautiful backyard view. There are two fire pits and two decks. One of the decks is down along the creek and offers birding opportunities and creek side vibes and views. At the end of the evening we really enjoyed taking a soak in the hot tub. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to have a nice little peaceful getaway."

"This cozy cabin was a great place to stay. It was our home base for exploring hiking trails. The waterfalls and views along the 5 mile hike to Barbour Rock were amazing. We checked out some potential fishing spots for the next time we stay here."

"We chose Canyon Motel for it's proximity to the Wellsboro main street and affordability of amenities, and we were not disappointed. We were able to relax in the Jacuzzi in our room after a long day of hiking and walking, or take in some heat in the sauna which was located in the pool area. The pool was heated, but not too warm and not overly chlorinated, which we have found to be a problem in most hotels/motels. Speaking of problems in other hotels, there were a few small details that made a huge difference to us. There were plenty of towels for our 3 day stay, including pool towels. Also, it's always bothered us how small the trash cans in other hotels can be; the trash cans in our room were bigger than most other places we've stayed and had liners in them. Do you know how refreshing it is to not have to worry about overflowing the trash bin during a 3 night stay? The only small complaint we had was the Do Not Disturb card to hang on the door was very light and easily turned to Room Service Requested by accident. Our last morning there was interrupted by room service because of that. It wasn't a big deal, just something to think about. All in all, we will be recommending Canyon Motel to friends and family."
