「We very much enjoyed one week at Ornela's house. Ornela is wonderful host. Her house is very comfortable. It offers all we needed. The bright living and bed rooms are connected by a balcony that gives this wonderful unobstructed view over Funchal and the harbor.The location on the hillside outside Funchal turned out to be an excellent starting point for our activities. 「This was our third time staying at this property. Joe's brother Nelson and his wife Ana greeted us when we arrived and were excited to show us all the upgrades Joe has done. New furniture in the living room, a new cabinet beside the table in the kitchen, new dishes and pots and pans and both bathrooms totally renovated. We love the location on the water and everything you need just a stroll away. We are hoping to return next year.」

The shower leaked, the bathroom door is sticky and you have to call the company to meet you at the apartment to get in. There was no lock box. We saw a friend's apartment close by which was the same price and it was beautiful. When we had an issue and called and emailed the company OVER 10 times, there was no response for over 24 hours!
