"We booked the barrel suana cabin, it was a cute little cabin with an outdoor bath tub and wood fired sauna. All the staff were so professional, polite and friendly especially ishigawa and keiko. We are definitely coming back on our next trip to Japan. This place is a little piece of heaven . I recommend booking the private hot springs and suana. My compliments to all the staff , management and owner. EXCELLENT!!!!!"

"The villa that we stayed in was well kept and very clean! The local area was beautiful and quiet. Our group had decided the rent cars which made getting around the area that much easier as well as the location of the villa having easy and accessible parking. "The owner let us keep our car parked in the hotel’s car park one more night while we climbed Mt Fuji. Very kind and much appreciated. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Cottage Yushin and would recommend that anyone staying at/around Lake Kawaguchi stay here as this side of the lake was very quiet and not nearly as crowded as the other side near Kawaguchi Station (the side where Mt Fuji is). "The hotel is extremely spacious, super clean and has all the household needs. More importantly, the owner couple is very nice! "This is a little gem I stumbled upon when looking for a hotel in the Lake Kawaguchiko area. The hotel is situated on a hillside overlooking the lake. It’s sort of right in the middle of all the activities but being away on the hill makes it completely serene. The hill is fairly steep but the hotel provides a free shuttle service from the station upon request. The facilities are top notch. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The onsen is excellent. Everything you need is provided. They even give you fresh yukatas to use in the hotel. The food was great too. And the staff are super helpful. Highly recommend it if you are visiting the area."
