"This was a fabulous apartment. It was next to the red light district but like the rest of Japan it was perfectly safe. The one criticism was the access arrangements. There was some difficulty getting a pre arrival booking form which allowed their automated system to send the check in details. We literally only got that when we arrived at the front door. Would definitely stay here again if in Hiroshima. "

"The appartment was great value, at times I found myself thinking "I wish this was my place". I regret not being able to stay there longer. The only two faults I had with the property were that: 1. -The lounge chair was low and it was hard to get up off/out of. I kept the fold up stool next to it as a work-around. Still a very comfortable chair though. 2. -The airconditioner was a bit noisey, like a propellor plane. I just had the temp set on low and when the room cooled down I could switch it...

"It was a great value for the price! Just a few minutes of walking to the Peace Park and Maple Loop (めいぷループ) bus stops. From here back to Hiroshima station early morning (before 6am), we took the trolley train (searched with Google Maps). This place has all amenities, even a small washer/dryer with detergent. "We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spacious for Japan standards and had everything we needed. We did not cook but there was coffee and tea. The location is amazing. Quiet but just around the corner are great restaurants. The memorial site/park/museum was 10-15 minute walk. The day pass made it easy to ride the trams. Communication from our host was wonderful with easy self checkin. Highly recommend! "

I am reasonably fit, but carrying my suitcase up 4 flights of stairs, in a narrow, winding staircase was a bit of a challenge. "This was our first time visiting Hiroshima so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it’s hard for me to imagine a better location than this. The unit was clean and spacious with nice amenities like a washer/dryer and a patio area with a nice view. The unit is at the back of the building so the noise from the road is really minimized. There’s a streetcar station basically right in front of the building, too. This provided the space for our family to be together, and for privacy when needed...
