If you're looking for a place to stay when going to the slopes in Breckenridge or Copper Mountain, this is your place!
The place was built in (guessing) the late 60s or early 70s, but is well maintained.
The staff were all very nice.
The breakfast was good enough to hold you over until lunch (bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, juice, coffee etc).
There is one thing with the heater in the room, if you don't understand how the types of heaters work, ask the staff to make sure it is set correctly. We are from Florida, we don't use these types of heaters, but one of the staff helped us make sure it was set correctly.
I rented a room with 2 full size beds, which was big enough for 2 people if you're sleeping in separate beds. If you want to sleep together, go with the queen.
We were able to walk to a variety of nearby restaurants.
The stop for the (free) bus, which picks you up for the slopes or just going around town, is outside the hotel. Had we known better, we probably would have just looked into a shuttle to/from Denver airport, instead of renting a car.
We didn't need our car for three days and it only caused stress going up and down the mountain from Denver.
If you're looking for ski resort, this is not your place.
We are not ski resort people, so if we go to Frisco area again, I would definitely stay here.
Recommend!
