"My husband and I had a beautiful stay in Gertrude for two nights. The property is beautiful and feels secluded but is close and convenient to everything you need. The only thing to note is that the only cooking facilities are a small grill and a kettle for tea/coffee. Also a mini fridge. All worked perfectly, but good to know for planning!"

"House is spacious and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were conveniently located on both floors. Everything was clean and tidy. It's clear Ron is doing continuous updates to the property, but that didn't bother us at all. Location is very peaceful with gorgeous views and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Ron is right on site and readily available if needed. We'd definitley stay again."

"A group of friends and I stayed at this property for a weekend and absolutely loved it! The access to the water is amazing, plus the sleeping accommodations are perfect for lots of people. The kitchen was also very well equipped and great for cooking for a large group. We had a great time, and I would highly recommend this to anyone! Hope to return soon."

"Let's start with the good. Convenient location for our son's wedding at Evergreen Farms, lots of space and parking, modern kitchen, working internet and modern TVs (that even allowed streaming from our phones). Easy interactions with both the manager and the owner. Now the not-so-good. First, the owner was supposed to meet us at check-in, but never showed up. We were given the lockbox code so we were able to get in without a problem, but no tour. The odd decor hits you immediately upon entry....

"The pictures were accurate and for a VRBO the furniture and beds were all extremely comfortable! Many times we’ve had a bed squeak all night or a mattress that was like concrete….not here! The driveway is very tight to get in and out of and if parking is occurring on both sides of the street, it’s even harder. The outside is rough but you can tell they’ve tried painting, etc."

"Visiting from NC for family wedding. This was the perfect spot for us, on tranquil, beautiful Wincheck Pond. The pine paneled 2-story house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Yes, it has its own sandy beach, with propane fire pit, 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, and paddleboards. The owner was kindly attentive in assuring we had all we needed. "The Boat House was a great home for our family trip to East Greenwich! Perfectly located near the historic Main street. The house had plenty of space for our family including a toddler. There is a permanent crib in the master suite area. We were supplied with plenty of linens, blankets and towels. "Reina (helpful and kind) met us at the property and walked us through the house, we called as we were arriving late and she even told us to stop because things closed at 9. Chocolate chip cookies and fresh cut cantaloupe (along with other fruits)were waiting for me when I arrived and I’m not ashamed to say the cookies were gone in literally 10 minutes of my arrival 😳.
