"Property was clean and well stocked with extras. Plenty of extra towels, sheets, pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The only thing missing was something to use as a chip clip for open bags of snacks but there was a roll of tape in the drawer so all needs were met! The location is perfect. The Citadel boulders were a great surprise. We enjoyed exploring. We would choose this property again."

"We came up to GA from FL for our anniversary and brought our two youngest (10 & 11) we had an AMAZING time at this cabin. As you can tell there is two twin beds & a full in the next room. We purchased an air mattress just because we like to watch TV when we go to bed and the only TV is downstairs in the living room. This is off the beaten path located on a beautiful pond, with 6 cabins lake front and a few others off into the distance this is a beautiful place to sneak away,for either a couples get away or a small family vacation. We are a fishing family & loved waking in our PJs and fishing from the back porch .Even if fishing isn’t your thing you can sit on the back deck,lounge or have dinner on the deck over the water with a AMAZINGLY beautiful view. This cabin is stocked with all the necessities as far as kitchen needs, grill supplies, some basic cleaning supplies. Cabin has good hot water,bathroom is alittle small but it’s a small cabin on the lake so that is to be expected.Full kitchen with medium size fridge,microwave & coffee pots, oh can’t forget about the 2 fire fireplaces! 1electric fireplace inside & one outsid.We enjoyed s’mores & dogs on the open fire,collecting fire wood was a family event.I don’t think I have anything bad to say about this cabin in the mountains. With DG only a few mins up the road for any last min snacks or first aid needs.It’s also about 30mins from Chattanooga where there is a Walmart,restaurant and SOO much more! Must see! "

"We stayed 2 nights in this quaint little cabin. We came to see the fall foliage in DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. We were not disappointed. The Cabin is far enough out to feel privacy, but close enough to get to Ft Payne in a short time. The cabin is perfect for couples, but be prepared to climb a steep ladder to the loft and twin beds if your group is more than 2 people. Be sure to screen shot your check in info including door code, because cell service is spotty. There is good WiFi in the cabin. It’s not a fancy place but is comfortable and convenient. The hot tub is nice. It is not walking distance to the park, but it’s only a few minutes drive away. We would definitely stay here again. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin and it is a hidden gem! Everything works well- jacuzzi tub, hot tub, all appliances. Comes fully stocked and ready. Perfect if you want a well planned trip ahead of time but is ready to go for a last minute get away choice! Will book here over and over again! "
