Basically, this was a very nice home, however,as you walk into the front door the first thing you see is dirty entry way with chipped up paint on the concrete.. when you open the main door the entry hall doesn't look bad,but as you look to the hall on the right leading to the 2 guest rooms the carpeting is filthy, spotted, and worn out..the guest room with the queen size bed had carpeting that was full of spots and a comforter on the bed that was dark and drab and very dated.that same bedroom is very small.. you can barely walk around the dresser and bed.
The master bedroom and bathroom were updated and clean, but not what I would call spotless. It looked like tomato juice had been spilled on the white tile next to the bed..
The kitchen was nice except the coffee pot was missing the basket. We called the manager and they replaced the coffee pot for us the next day.
The living room had dated furniture that was not clean . There is a throw blanket covering a faux leather chair because the faux leather is worn out and peeling off.
The chairs around the counter we're another story. They're white with cloth cushions. They were not only spotted, but actually had dirt ground in around the edges of the cushions.
The trash cans in the kitchen had food spilled on them and there was tomato sauce spilled in the oven and on the oven door.
The pool was beautiful. We paid the extra money to have the heater on. It never seemed like it was 86 degrees. We had the management company check the temp they said their thermometer read 86..the thermometer in the pool never got above 82.
All of the patio furniture cushions were dirty..it looked like someone had started to paint the chairs but never finished.
There were popsicle sticks and Cheerios left on the patio.
We called the management company and asked to have the house cleaned up.
We complained about the dirty carpet. They said it was too late in the season to have enough time to clean the carpet..
A person came out to clean and I pointed things out. She did her best.
She told me to just throw towels over the patio furniture.
I ended up using 409 to try to get the spots off the carpet.
U scrubbed the cushions on the stools in the kitchen..and washed the smaller cushions from the patio furniture in the washing machine.
My husband and I spent the first 2 days of our vacation cleaning.
The neighborhood was nice and the home is conveniently located.
The house needs the carpeting and patio furniture replaced..
