I'll start off with: We already booked this place again for a Madison wedding we're attending later this year. This place has 2x "master" suites, one on the ground floor; great for our mom who doesn't get along well with stairs. It also has 2 other bedrooms and third full bath upstairs. There were 3 or 4 steps from the parking area down to the house but an aluminum fence made for a great hand hold for mom and she had no issues. The inside is exactly like the pics online only cuter. I spent many hours at the dining room table, working on line. The views are great pretty much everywhere except the showers. There is a balcony for both rooms on the 2nd floor and a large, multi-level deck. The 2x beds we used were fantastic with plenty of blankets for cold snowy nights. The closets upstairs are a bit wonky due to the roof line but our clothes never complained. There are steps down to the water, which we didn't get to use, where there is a little "boat house" with kayaks, etc. The entry to the home was very easy. Once you get the code typed in correctly, it does take a hair longer to open than I expected; I screwed it up a couple times due to my lack of patience. We cooked many of our meals here and they had everything we needed and more. They had a full cupboard of spices to make things extra tasty. Our first night there, we got about 6 inches of snow. There were 2 snow shovels (pronounced scoops in WI) for us and large bucket of ice melt. However, the owners (or their elves) actually scooped the drive and the walk before we even woke up, cleared off our car and put down more ice melt. The hosts were very quick to respond and even told us about an internet outage they had before we even noticed; it was back up before we needed it. We used this place as a jumping off point for checking out the many small towns nearby, shopping, some eating and jetting to Madison (about 40ish mins away) a couple times to visit with family. When we were in the house, we spent most of our time eating, cooking and looking at the lake. When that got old, the house has a ROKU with a number of accounts already signed in and we could easily in in to the others if we had trouble finding something upon which we all agreed.
