"Very good stay and service love the lounge error"

"I came across Hotel Hive by pure chance. In fact it was not my first choice as we initially booked at the citizenM. However after reviewing the space, we determined that for our length of stay we wanted a little more breathing room and quality of amenities that Hotel Hive seemed to provide. We eventually decided to cancel our booking at citizenM, and took the plunge with only pictures and glowing reviews to guide us. Hotel Hive provides an ideal experience for travelers that are looking for a space that is well located, affordable, and with excellent on property amenities such as a pizzeria and bar that makes your time there just as enjoyable as time spent out on the town. We adored our room (King Loft) for providing everything we needed, and nothing we didn't. The staff was impeccable. Max and Jayla in particular were fantastic for providing recommendations and general service. Be advised that the rooms are on the small side, and somewhat spartan in terms of storage. Closets, dressers, mini fridges, etc. are absent. However, for travelers accustomed to living out of their suitcase it is such a perfect space to serve as a launching pad for a DC experience. It's conveniently located to transit - only a short walk from the Foggy Bottom metro station. It's also easily walkable, bikeable, or otherwise accessible to all major monuments and museums on and around the National Mall. We are so glad we took a chance on Hotel Hive, and would gladly stay again on future sojourns."

"Convenient, clean, amenable. The airport shuttle was very helpful and easy- I appreciated this perk. Overall, a good place to sleep near the airport when having a layover; but I’d recommend it for a regular stay as well. 👍👍"

"Lovely property so close to the metro and walkable to my daughter's apartment. Only regret is I wish I had more time to enjoy the grounds which looked lovely in the spring and the heated pool. But we will be back! Also thank you for the accomodating late check out policy which made it possible for me to come back and shower post race. I really appreciated that flexibility."
