"For starters, I booked and checked in online thru hotels.com for a Microtel that was knew in the same city. Arrived and total construction was in progress and the hotel staff directed me to Hawthorn which is their sister hotel. She stated if I go there my reservation will be honored. I get there and the staff was no help, the reservation was not honored and I had to get hotels.com involved and they helped me swap recservations.
