"this is a standard chain hotel type of place. it was fine and we had a nice stay. nothing great, nor nothing bad. check in went efficiently. the staff was helpful. it's close to downtown and the waterfront."

"Good place to stay in Te Anau. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was situated in a great location in Te Anau and it was very walkable to the lake (esplanade) and many restaurants and other shops. The unit itself was small but functional. It had good storage space. The shower would get the entire room very steamy and leave a large amount of water on the floor every time. But otherwise, this place was good for what we needed. "

"Beautifully attended, clean, comfortable place. The lake is just steps away across a street. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. Picnic tables outside each room are perfect for a relaxing bleakfast or even working on laptop. We'll stay again at Lakefront Lodge if we can go back to Te Anau!"

"The property has various types of lodging facilities - from rooms, to cottages to apartments and caravan park. There is no breakfast per se. The location is great - around 5 minutes drive from the city center. You can also walk for around 10-15 mins to be there. The city center has quite a few restaurants and eating options. Self parking withing the property is very convenient and fast. Would stay here again for sure !!"

"Very good accomodation. Clean and convineint. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook with the basics provided and an opportunity to refresh our clothes via the washer dryer. Very easy to walk around the anau from here. The couple who run the motel were friendly and went out of their way to help us on a rainy day. Will come again and recommend. "

"The owner and staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was excellent and they even went our of the way to cook breakfast when we were late on oyr last day of the stay. The free laundry was definitely appreciated."
