Great house near Woodneck!

Very comfortable home, well furnished and comfortable beds. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Great patio with gas grill. Great place for our family to stay while celebrating my parents 50th anniversary. We had 4 adults and 4 kids - plenty of room!!

Great multi-family getaway

The house is spacious and very well equipped for a large group. Kids had a blast with all the toys both for the house and the beach. Walking distance to an amazing little beach with both ocean and pond access. Very well stocked kitchen/grill setup for our group who loves to cook. We loved the firepit and deck in the evenings. Beds were all comfy.

This is a great house for girls weekend! The pictures do not do it justice. The house is spotless. Also 2 miles from Falmouth Center. Perfect location.

Very Comfortable House

Large comfortable house with deck and big backyard. Ten minute walk to Woodneck beach (our favorite Falmouth beach). Kitchen accommodates family meals and multiple sitting areas on different levels works really well for different group activities.

Great Location & Property

The property was just as described and was a wonderful place to have a family vacation. Beautifully set up and decorated, homey space and open floor plan to children to play. The backyard proved to be a good hang around spot & the front yard had space for the kids to run around and play tag. Overall would book this house again if we ever decided to go to Falmouth again.

Perfect place for large family

We booked this property so that we could host Thanksgiving for my children and grandchildren. We were so pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was, plenty of glasses, plates, silverware, etc. The layout of the house was perfect with the adults upstairs and the children downstairs, and the girls really liked the bunk beds. Plenty of games for the kids to play as well.

The Happiest Place!

We loved our stay at The Happy Place! It was our first time to the cape and we could not have chosen a better location. Falmouth and Woods Hole are beautiful and the neighborhood is the perfect Cape Cod vibe. We got married on Nobska Beach and we loved coming back to the house every evening during our stay. Perfect for families and we can't wait to come back at the height of summer and enjoy the large yard and deck.

Lovely stay to kick off the holidays

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean, had everything we needed (and more!), had clear instructions, and was in a very convenient location (equidistant between our two locations. We were traveling with two five year olds and a three year old. We all enjoyed the games and puzzles that were left out for our use, and the kids loved the bunk room. Thank you for hosting us!

Great Retreat

Great location for girls weekend! Close to bike path, beaches. Private back yard with fire pit and deck. House was exceptionally clean with plenty of sleeping choices and bathrooms! Large kitchen and dining area for gathering and cooking together. Well stocked with equipment. Throughly enjoyed the Happy Place and highly recommend for retreats and reunions.

Fun 50th Anniversary!

Overall it was great. OTOH there was no water or spares in the water machine when we got there, broiler didn’t work and the lights in the range hood didn’t work. The first morning we discovered the coffee carafe was broken, not sure if we did it, but we replaced it for $17.

The house is beautiful. The lower rating is due to the property manager. Daniel called twice to ask the purpose of our stay. And informed us, if anything were to happen at the home, he would not help us because we were from out of town. It was very unprofessional and made us feel very unwelcome. After this review is submitted, there are no opportunities to reply to any comments from Vacasa.

It is a Happy Place

Loved the location, close to town but secluded and quiet as well. We stayed in January 2024 and the nights can be cold,but this is expected. There is only one Tvlab in the whole house. So if you want to watch TV it is located on the lower level of the house. Plenty of room for people and it’s not crowded. We saw a Keurig. Coffee maker in thw pictures but it was not there. The information book was located in a drawer in the kitchen which would’ve been good if it was out on the counter upon arrival. The beds are sooo comfortable but be aware that the kitchen and upstairs livingroom doesn’t have curtains or shades. The entry was super easy and we connected quickly to the internet with ease. Great home for a bunch of adults and even when staying with a large group. Nice deck and outdoor seating

Great house with not-so-great management company

We really enjoyed the location of the house with a short walk to a nice beach, the cleanliness, the two comfortable gathering areas, and the comfortable beds. We were gathering for Thanksgiving with eleven people, and appreciated the availability of a turkey roasting pan and a baster! Unfortunately, we had two frustrating maintenance issues while we were there and the communication with the management company was not great and affected our ability to relax. The biggest issue was that the dishwasher was broken. I had read in a previous review from a few months ago that the dishwasher was not working, so I wrote to the company specifically to ask if the dishwasher was now working. I was assured that the problem had been addressed. Apparently the local team of the management company was aware that the dishwasher was currently not working and asked customer service to let us know ahead of time but we received no such notification. It was a bummer not to have a dishwasher at Thanksgiving with eleven people, and an even bigger bummer not to know it was broken until after we tried repeatedly to figure it out! They agreed to a small refund to compensate for the broken dishwasher, but honestly we wouldn't have booked a place for Thanksgiving for eleven with no dishwasher.

Great location and plenty of space. Poor management company.

Overall the house and location were great. There were some maintenance issues we brought to the management company attention and nothing was done. The one tub in the house would not drain and this was needed to bathe a toddler. The dishwasher did not work which was somewhat of an inconvenience as there was no drying rack and not enough dish towels.
