"This is our second time staying at The Preserve at Maple Creek. The first time we stayed in the Barn Cabin and my oldest daughter was married in the glass chapel 2 years ago. We LOVE this property! It's much more than just a place to stay. We did a little hike through the property on Thanksgiving day and had such a great time!!! My oldest lives in Rutherfordton so any time we plan to visit this is where we hope to stay!"

"This is the most beautifully appointed, well maintained, clean home we have ever had the pleasure to vacation in. It’s simply gorgeous! The care that has gone into this home is truly amazing. "It is a lovely, secluded property that could accommodate us all. It was well-appointed, including everything one might need. Check in and check out were easy, and the host responds quickly. I specifically looked for a property with a pool and this is listed with a pool--it actually has a small cool/cold spring-fed "hole" (maybe 7'x7')--if you go in, I recommend shoes, the silt is a little unnerving. "

"Property was off the beaten path. The seclusion was quite nice. No cellular signal made things a little difficult. The only real complaint i have is there was animal hair everywhere. It was in the fridge, freezer and on all the beds. We had to wash all the linen befor we could comfortably sleep on them. Also the garbage was full before we were able to toss our trash forcing us not comply with their trash policy. Overall it was a good experience."

"We (2 seniors and 3 girls - 5 to 11) had the BEST week at the Farm Barn. We were enchanted with the baby pigs and goats, the swing was a huge hit and Farmer Steve was patient and allowed the girls to help him. We will never forget our week. Thank you. It was hot part of the week and not having A/C made it sticky but it truly was the only negative. And we would not have traded the experience."

"A few guys and I were in town working on the storm debris cleanup. We were able to contact Angie, the property owner, and meet with her. We needed to make sure that it met our needs as we would need to rent for two weeks. They showed us the property and it was perfect. With the long rental, they made sure everything was stocked that we needed for the whole time. They found out it was my birthday and dropped off a cookie cake and a balloon. "This trip could not have been any better! The house was clean with the perfect layout for our group. Everyone enjoyed the farm tour and smores party, seeing and meeting all the animals, watching the piglets, holding baby chicks etc. There is so much room outside to explore and play.
