"A reasonably good value for location space and apartment size. TV had poor clarity and some outlet/switches were not functional. Kitchen was well equipped. Housekeeping was on request and then did a spotless job when used. Security for complex was excellent even during the New Year celebration that was a block away. This is my third stay with a Solemar apartment and will be my go to when in Fortaleza."

"This residential hotel is so much more comfortable than staying at a supposedly fancy hotel nearby. For the solo business traveler or vacationing family. There is a nice coffee shop across the street and the hotel is 2 blocks from the beach. Very quiet and comfortable."

"The place was filthy, with bugs, broken furniture, dirty sheets and towels. I paid for 8 days but left on the first day. I had to pay for a different hotel. Tried to call and communicate with them. No answer. I went there twice but they said only Expedia could solve my problem. I have lots of pictures that I will be posting soon. It was very disappointing. Hope I would get my refund because I didn’t stay there and had to pay again at the other hotel. "

"A localização do apartamento é excelente, com fácil acesso a pontos turísticos e transporte público. Contudo, a experiência deixou a desejar. O colchão era desconfortável, prejudicando o descanso. O apartamento estava visivelmente desgastado e necessitando de reparos, com móveis em más condições. A cozinha tinha poucos utensílios básicos, tornando difícil preparar refeições. Além disso, o ar condicionado não era suficiente para refrescar o ambiente adequadamente. Não havia itens de limpeza...

"We actually did not stay here because the ATLANTIC OCEAN IS NOT A HOTEL!!!! It is a condominium where some people rent their apartments. The very nice lady at the gate told us it is a condominium and furthermore, she did not know we were coming because no one had told her. They were going to make up the room but this took more than an hour. We decided to make a reservation at a real hotel."
