"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping."

"Our family of 4 loved this stay. Traveling with 2 teenagers; it can sometimes be difficult to find the space everyone wants. This house was perfect for us and our needs. Stephanie and Frank were very kind and very easy to communicate with. We only wish we could’ve spent more time there…hopefully some day we will be able to return. "

The owner made many thoughtful changes when they renovated the house - lights that turn on and off automatically , well appointed and stocked kitchen , comfortable bedding , clean bathrooms , great shower pressure and plumbing , excellent doors and windows - the list goes on and on . "Comfortable clean quiet apartment in converted old farm building. Very fast wifi. Covered parking for car and bikes below apartment. Helpful friendly owner doesn't speak english. Rustic village with good supermarket next to pretty river Yonne, Excellent tarmac cycle path along nearby canal du Nivernais. Lots of wine tasting. Recommend visiting Noyers, Auxerre, Vezelay.
