"I have to say, my stay at Strand Palace was amazing for many reasons. They got to know that I have planned my stay to celebrate my 20th marriage anniversary. It was nice to witness how they decorate the room with Balloons and provided special chocolates and two bottle of champaign (although we do not drink alcohol they immediately changed it to any drink we desire from the hotel restaurant) The hotel staff are so welcoming and very attentive to what ask for, they were also very helpful when asked for any guide for our walk around the city. During our stay, at midnight, the fire alarm went on, I have to give all of their staff the credit of how organized they were with the evacuation process, the marshalls were on spot with every single details in the evacuation process and coordination with the fire fighting team, thank god it was just a smoke from a room and we were all back to our rooms. one of the great things about this hotel is every attraction in central london is a walking distance, if not, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, or take a 3 to 5 minutes walk to the underground. The only downside was the room size, it was to small but manageable. Having this all in mind, you can never go wrong in staying here, i would definitely lodge back here again on my next trip to London"

"The hotel room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. Very convenient for Russel Square tube. Breakfast was good but v busy. Good restaurants / pubs nearby. My only small observation is that the lounge needs some maintenance, I.E carpets, bar lighting, etc and a lot more attention to detail re the cleaning. I.E mirrors, arms of chairs etc. Small details would make this a better and even more appealing hotel."

"What a blast. I spent the week before Thanksgiving in the center of London and was able to access legitimately everything from Manchester to Westminster and beyond, all by the Underground station right across the street. The room, though tiny, was perfect for a solo traveler...safe, clean, stylish and surprisingly quiet given it's smack in the center of everything. Oh, and the staff was awesome! Seeing them as I came and went became a favorite part of the trip. "

"The Yotel is in a fantastic position with Farrington Underground station only about 250 metres away. There are also heaps of bus stops within 100 metres, even though I never used the buses. Everywhere I needed or wanted to go to were only a few stops away on the tube. The Elizabeth Line got me to most places (including back to Heathrow) and the other lines I used (Circle, Metropolitan, etc) were also handy to anywhere I wanted to visit. Once you get used to the tube lines it's very easy to get around. As for the staff, they have all been great. Friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to go to and best trains to catch. My room was only a single and I was a bit disappointed with the lack of wardrobe space. There was a tiny bed-side table with a roll-out shelf for my laptop, as well as 2 small drawers for smaller clothing items. More annoying was the lack of a kettle to boil water to make a coffee or tea. In fact there was no coffee or tea in the room. Nor was there any crockery and cutlery, which makes sense when you can't make yourself a hot drink! I spent a lot of time in the cafeteria, which is where you can get your meals throughout the day as well as setting up the laptop to do some work, check emails, etc. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found the convenience to everywhere the best part of my time here."

"Great place to stay if you're seeing a show around victoria (Hamilton or wicked). Loved the modern look. Really comfy. We enjoyed controlling the room from the tablet. The only one little issue is having to fiddle with the lights on the tablet if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Lots of other light fixtures also had physical switches. The toilet could probably do with one too. Sorry if there was and we missed it."
