Great Location, But Won't Stay Here Again

Listing pictures are not accurate. Overall the house and property are not being kept up with appropriate maintenance and cleaning. The location on the beach is great, I should have heeded the other reviews more closely. Unfortunate that we will not stay in this house again - the home has outstanding potential.

Beach Backyard

We had a great stay, and strongly recommend this property. Thr location is great, its very well equipped, plety of space, with everything you need. It does show it's age a little, and the AC system is loud, and needed repairs during our staystay.

Beautiful view but house needs MAJOR TLC

We stayed at this VRBO and the location is absolutely amazing! The view is breathtaking, and it's the kind that never gets old. However, the house itself needs some serious updating. There were wads of hair hanging from strings on the towels and the pillows had noticeable stains. The outdoor furniture was rusted and falling apart. The pictures in the listing didn’t match what we saw. There’s also some sort of leak, and one of the cabinets is literally falling from the ceiling. They should also include pictures of all the stairs, as it didn’t affect us, but it could be an issue for others. Despite all this, we’d love to stay here again if they completed some major, major updates.

Very nice rental!

Life on the Beach

I loved this cozy tri-plex. The view from the porch of the Gulf of Mexico is awesome. You are a hop, skip, and jump to the private beach area. Relaxing getaway. Kids loved looking for shells, and I loved floating in the Gulf and sitting on the porch watching the sunsets and storms move through. I will be coming back soon.

Perfect View

The view was amazing. The location was perfect. You can't beat having the beach as your back yard. The only thing I would have changed is having to go up&down the stairs.We will definitely stay here again!

Englewood Escape

We recently enjoyed a stay at this lovely beach house and had a fantastic time. This was a much needed get away. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sun and surf every day. The house was neat and clean upon arrival, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment. The interior decorations were beautifully done, with a charming coastal theme that added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. We were also pleased to find plenty of beach accessories available, like, beach towls and sand sifters, which made our beach outings hassle-free and fun. However, we did notice that the outdoor furniture wasn't the same as what was advertised. While the available furniture was still functional, we had been expecting something different based on the listing. Additionally, the outdoor shower area, though convenient, could have been improved with an enclosure. An enclosed space would have allowed us to change outside, reducing the amount of sand tracked inside the house. Overall, despite these minor issues, we had a great experience and would recommend this beach house for its excellent location and charming decor. A few updates to the outdoor amenities would make it even better!

Amazing Location, please read reviews about accuracy and cleanliness.

We love staying here due to its close proximity to Stump Pass State Park. The home is spacious and has everything we need and everything was working. The view is just amazing, great screened in porch looking at the ocean. As other reviews state, there is an issue with cleanliness and maintenance, all easy fixes. There is a very rusted and sharp metal table and chairs on the porch that needs replacing with plastic, metal never lasts on the beach. The carpet going up the stairs is filthy and should be removed. If you are ok with this not being fancy, it is a great place to stay, luckily the 80's was my era, so the decor makes me feel at home ha ha. We were pleased that everything works, great A/C, washer and dryer and dishwasher. We will book it again as we are outside a lot anyway :)

Absolutely Amazing Location

We had a great trip. Booking and check in was easy and the property manager was responsive to our questions. This property is located so close to the beach and in a great small beach community. The property had everything we needed to stay. We even cooked in a couple nights and grilled out on the nice outdoor grill as well. Beautiful views. Again, right on the beach just steps from it, sunsets on the patio, quiet and relaxing.

Absolutely beautiful.

Loved everything about this place. The house was so pretty inside. The view was breathtaking. Was so clean and smelled good. We also found over 100 sharks teeth. We will defiantly be back. Thanks so much for sharing your property with us .

Extremely disappointing beach duplex

Enter into filthy carpet leading to main floor, The house stunk. Lots of broken blinds Dishwasher did not work. Dishes and glasses dirty. Kitchen drawers needed cleaning. Bed linens did not appear clean. Washed sheets before using. Bed pads under sheets soiled. Bathroom mats filthy. Porch cushions dirty and need replacing, furniture rusted. Unit needs painting. Just the worst we have stayed in. The odor was terrible.

We had a wonderful time at the beach house! There was a small issue the first night but after messaging the host they had someone out quickly the next day to fix it. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Beautiful beach house

This house was perfect for us. We wanted a quiet getaway on the beach with great views and restaurants within walking distance. I think of it as a house rather than a condo because the oceanview unit felt like a little beach house to me. Walking right out onto the beach, which was basically private was great. We saw dolphins from the deck. Enjoyed beach walks looking for shells & sharks teeth. It was relaxing and amazing. We will be back!

Beach Life

The view form the balcony of the front apartment was more then anyone could ask for. Having a cup of tea of coffee first thing in the morning and watching the dolphins go bye was wonderful but then to see the sunset at night was just amazing!

Amazing ocean beach frontk View

The view is incomparable and definitely the best part of this rental. I was disappointed as the listed pictures were much nicer than the actual home itself. Especially for the high rate I paid.There are no area rugs and no decor on the walls. The blinds are missing slats and the unit was not that clean upon arrival. The carpet on the stairs is the first impression going up to the home and they are worn, very dirty and smell musty. I have rented several VRBO homes and all have been amazing, this home however did not impress and needs work. I want to give accurate reviews to help other renters as I would have appreciated knowing this before hand.

Beautiful Turquoise Perch

After scaling the steps to the main area of the rental in anticipation of what we would see at the top, we were amazed by the gorgeous colors of turquoise we saw coming in the various windows. It was really fun to sit up high. The porch was spectacular. We really enjoyed relaxing and watching the wildlife and hearing the surf.
