This home had more than enough space for my family to spread out, grandparents, parents, and kids. During our annual family vacation, we always feel like we're on top of one another, but not in this house! The basement was incredible for the kids. The beds were all comfortable. The trail behind the house leads to the creek below, and it was a beautiful hike. It was definitely steep, but you can tell they have done a lot of work (sturdy stairs where possible) to make it doable for most people. We did run into a few home repair issues during our stay, but the property management team was quick to respond in those instances. The most frustrating parts of the week were related to location. Every time we came through the community gate, we were challenged and told that our names were not on the list. The property management team confirmed they gave our names as required, but it was never really resolved. Once you get past the gate, the roads, while well maintained, are quite narrow and windy. No complaints here, just pointing out that it takes more time than you expect to get to the house and anywhere else in the community. Final note about the location is that you do have to pay a fee per person, per day to take advantage of the amenities in the community (pool, etc). It is quite a hassle to even get the passes. The fee combined with how long it takes to get to the pools resulted in not using those community amenities much at all. Overall, the house itself was wonderful!
