The cabin was beautiful and equipped with all we needed. Our only concern was the steps. We are over 70 years old and that was difficult for us.

The home is clean and wrll equipped. Location is beautifully. The stairs and Steep slope to get to the cabin is a bit much. There should be more explanation on the listing. The owner is great with communication prior to the rental. However the management company is ill equipped for emergencies. The day we arrived there was a tornado and power was knocked out. When speaking with them the next day they had no suggestions as to how to remediate my needs. I have medical equipment that requires power. This was also a working vacation. There suggestion "go to starbucks"After 30 hours with no power we had no choice but to leave Steesteep slope are a bit much. I thr

Enjoyed it- happy new year!
My only concern is the plumbing- we had to plunge both toilets and saw in the guest book that this is an ongoing problem as others have commented on the concern. It is a beautiful property. A lot of steps but I’m sure the description addressed that!

Great cabin in a lovely area
Almost everything about this cabin is terrific. The pictures in the listing are spot on. All of the amenities are great and the kitchen is well equipped. We also appreciated being able to watch movies on Amazon Prime and Netflix. Pay close attention to the pictures that show the stairs from the parking area to the cabin. You need to factor in carrying luggage and supplies up and down the stairs. The bigger challenge is the parking area. It is steep and covered with loose gravel. Someone with limited mobility would have a tough time making it from the car to the stairs. Despite the parking challenge, we loved the cabin and would love to return.

Nice. Enjoyable relaxing.
The cabin was beautiful, clean, and accommodating. I would put a ramp with rails from the first parking spot to the top of the stairs. The property tells you you need a four wheel to park at the stairs. We didn’t have one. Other than that it was very beautiful.

idyllic river respite
Loved our weekend getaway and would definitely come back again. The house itself was perfect on the river, and very cozy. Beautiful cabin interior and great window overlooking the water. I will say, you can't see it from the pics, but there are houses very close on both sides. Would have preferred a little more privacy. The management company was very quick to respond when the wifi was down, and they sent someone to fix it asap. thanks for a lovely weekend
