Upon arrival, we had trouble accessing the driveway as it was so icy. We managed to get our vehicles up the driveway by sliding down and giving it a “running start”. We reached out to the management company, and were told we were welcome to salt the driveway ourselves or park at the bottom and walk up the icy driveway. The driveway is a hard turn onto the main road, so there is no place to park or wait at the bottom.
There are loose stairs inside the house, so take caution when walking up there.
The beds are not made. So when you’re tired and the kids are ready for bed, be aware that there will be a package of sheets for you in the room and you will have to make your own bed.
The pots and pans in the kitchen are all bowed, so they do not make contact with the cooktop, making cooking a challenge.
Some of the bathroom sinks do not function. The shower faucets are very unusual, so instructions in the bathroom would be helpful.
One of the tvs upstairs did not work.
The fireplaces were very nice.
The house feels like it hasn’t changed in 40 years. It would be nice to feel like the owner cares enough to invest a little bit to upgrade the interior.
