"The house is very pretty and comfortable, Loved the fenced yard for the dogs and location was perfect for us as we could navigate the area easily, The view from to the river is so pretty, got to see a Heron, a deer getting to the bank up to his Belly to eat Algae! We had a nice Family time! Mike was very nice to let us check out an hour late."

"The house is immaculate and well cared for. The location is conveniently located. You could hear the neighbors but there was no one shouting/partying. My only (very minor) complaint was that the gate didn't close due to what looked like fresh gravel, so my preschooler had to stay closer to me in the yard."

"We booked the cabin for my family of 5 for Thanksgiving! We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed! The host was so awesome. Great communication and even surprised us with some Thanksgiving decorations to make our stay fun! The cabin was very clean and just as described. The views were amazing. While remote and off the beaten path, there are two wineries close and you are an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock. We had a great time and will be back to enjoy...

The 3 bedrooms were comfortable, fenced yard was perfect for our dog, large dining room table provided plenty of room for a puzzle and we enjoyed the perfect location close to ETSU, Milligan University and any necessary shopping. "The house was absolutely beautiful. Didn’t get to enjoy outdoor area. However the bumper pool took me back to my childhood. The road in was being paved so that was very bumpy. Due to all the rain it was super muddy. Other than this thank you for a clean, safe, worry free place to stay. Would definitely book again."

"The property was lovely in its rustic style. Little issues than can just happen through usage. It’s very roomy. I had everything I needed. Good WiFi. Good streaming ability on the television. "Great place. Great communication with owner. Peaceful place to just chill out. We spent time hiking roan mountain range which is very close and spent a afternoon floating in the river with Loafers Glory Rafting and Tubing. House had a few minor quirks but to be expected with older properties. Over all highly recommended."

"The balcony was closed, and the sofa bed was broken, but the 2 beds were comfy, and the room was clean. There was good water pressure, even being on the top floor on top of a mountain, which was good, and the bathrooms were both clean and in good working order. The gentleman and lady at the front desk were helpful when we checked in with some suggestions on what to do with the kids. "

"This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat!"
