"We made a spur of the moment decision to travel to Vanuatu for our 24th wedding anniversary. We stayed at Breakas for 4 nights and it was pure heaven and indulgence. We were given a beachfront bungalow that couldn’t get any closer to the water. It was perfection itself! The service is so good, everyone is friendly and kind. The breakfast was beautiful - so much lovely fruit and those pancakes are divine! The infinity pool, crystal clear ocean, friendly local sea turtle just added to the magic - oh and the Friday night fire show! "

"The property far exceeded our expectations. Everything is in perfect condition, comfortable, private, quiet and beautifully landscaped. 3 great pools- one is adults only!! Good location. Quite central despite town being closed from the quake. The internet wasn’t overly reliable so I’d recommend a local sim or roaming data. I think the wifi issues were also quake related. An unusual time to be in Vanuatu however Poppy’s provided a great accommodation and you wouldn’t even know there was a 7.3 just 2 weeks prior. "

"We had the deluded waterfront villa. It was really lovely, sitting in the deck overlooking water was just beautiful, we could see starfish and sea cucumbers in the crystal clear water of the lagoon. Only downside was no signal for TV, maintenance changed the TV as everything was in Chinese, but still no signal. Only a minor hiccup as we were on holiday, not there to watch TV. Fully self co tai ed with washing Mach and dryer, instructions again in Chinese but I worked it out. Air conditioner worked perfectly, and the spa batch was lovely and relaxing. Rosie on front desk was very helpful and friendly like all the staff in the restaurant etc. breakfast daily included was a bonus and looked forward to it each mornjng. Another bonus supermarket right next door selling everything including wine and beer. We loved staying there as on reading some of the reviews we were feeling a bit reluctant to stay there, but on our own experience we highly recommend staying here, and for the price we paid it was very reasonable. "

"We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Restaurant with beautiful views and great breakfast serve - the thursday chef buffet is definitely recommended. The staff were absolutely amazing my 3 year old loved the attention from all the staff from his babycino in the mornings to his daily catch ups with William (Bill) front of house. A big thank you to William for being such a great host you went that extra mile to help us! "
