"Room was comfortable and clean. Loved the outdoor fire places in the courtyard. Only complaint was parents letting kids run around and scream outside till past 10pm. The hotel is not responsible for other people’s children or how parents let them do what ever so I can not give give a negative review"

"This is an amazing property. It has been restored to look very much like its original condition ( circa 1900) but with all modern amenities. The rooms are very large and many are suites. Each beautifully appointed. The staff are very helpful and the meals excellent. It is walkable to the quaint beautiful downtown.This was our seventh visit, each has been special. "

"We loved staying in this historic building. It has been beautifully updated but you still get the feel of the past. As far as eco friendliness - it would be better to provide paper rather than plastic water cups and in the room to reduce plastic waste. Also biodegradable / compostable cutlery at breakfast. Thank you for the paper coffee cups."
