"There isn’t a lot of reviews of this place so I was hesitant, but it was a nice place. The hallway looks a bit grim, but the room was great. The room had a pretty small bathroom with no bidet sadly, but there was a microwave and stove too which is rare. Overall I’m super happy with the hotel and its proximity to the station. I would definitely stay here again if I’m travelling solo. "

"This is not a normal hotel. It is a small apartment with cooking hot plate, microwave, washing machine/dryer. Typical Japanesebth and shower, in room airconditioner. About a 10 minute walk to Kokubunji Train Station. All directions in room are in Japanese. So you will need a translation app. Also office staff has very limited English and they use a translation app too. You will get a feel for living in Japan with a small grocery store about a 3 minute walk. Enjoy."

"The beds were uncomfortable, although this is normal for westerners in Japanese beds. Bring a pillow or get a western-style if this is a dealbreaker. The refrigerator power outlet went out early in the stay, but we used another outlet. "The property was exactly what we needed for our two week stay in Japan! We were left alone and weren’t bothered. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment however we found it didn’t dry our clothes very well. However there is within walking distance a laundry mat that was super easy to use and get to. Would recommend staying here for anyone wanting a cheaper stay and a little less touristy to get emerged into Japan. "
