Eastern Piedmont Spa Hotel

"Gorgeous and classy hotel, with high end amenities and an impressive mini bar. Great location and close to the airport. Herons, the restaurant in the hotel, was a bonus as well. Food and presentation were superb! For a hotel of this caliber though, I was underwhelmed by the staff. My expectations were high given the price point etc. They didn’t seem as “polished” or friendly as one would expect. Nonetheless, I would definitely stay there again. "

"The property is beautiful but seems like it’s ready for refresh, at least our room was. It was fine, but not as nice as we expected. The granite in our bathroom was cracked, the AC was sooo loud and wasn’t great at cooling the room, the fridge was not cold. We had a nice brunch at the restaurant, food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Walkable to Duke campus. "

"The hotel was nice and the staff were great. The bartender, Angela was especially friendly. The room was clean, however, on our last day we saw a bug. I don't think it was a bed bug but that was a little disappointing. Overall though the hotel was clean and well kept. I would recommend the hotel and stay again."
