Very nice cottage.. very clean and comfortable. I loved the location. I loved the store nextdoor with the ice cream and souvenirs. Wonderful stay. I'm glad I had this experience.

Cottage was super clean when we arrived.The private beach is definitely a plus.As mentionned before, the shower is quite small but other than that this was an extremely pleasant stay. I will recommend it 100%

Rustic cabin on a private beach

We had a great time at this cabin. We were practically the only family on a very nice beach. The management was very responsive when we texted regarding a small issue, which was resolved. The cabin was rustic with a very small bathroom/shower. It was also within walking distance from the state park.

Our overall stay was excellent. If I am honest I thought the cabin was directly on the beach and there was a dock for the 9 cabins. With marina directly next door there was no problem. My wife is very hard to please amenity wise and the cabin had it all. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend. We would certainly come back! Jeff & Nancy

Pleasant Stay

We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to the next morning when we saw him.

I booked on line paid all up front and had to wait until 2 days before I left to get an address. I have family up there that were going to visit but I couldn't tell them where to go. Should get the address as soon as the stay is pain for. The driveway to our cabin was all loose sand had to park on the street side in-between many trees, difficult. Or be stuck in the sand. Pictures show long dock out front, no dock when you got there. my husband likes to fish he was disapppointed. The door to the kitchen was the one we had to use because of the sand and the approach was falling off. Dangerous had to push it place every time we used the door. You advertised a house and it really should have said cabin. You advertise wi/fi and no TV when you get there [extra charge] might have brought one of my own if I had known. Then I get a notice saying they are charging extra because we left water on the bathroom floor and sand on the kitchen floor. You should charge extra for cleaning when you book and expect to clean water a sand from the beach not decide on a price that suits you after your guest has gone. People expect you to clean, after all its their vacation. Will never book with VRBO again because you don't know what you will get.

Shallow beach

The beach was shallow and perfect for the little ones. We did go to other beaches so that we adults could swim. The cabin was nice and clean. I would stay again if we were bringing small children.

Peaceful

A clean, cozy, quiet cabin on Tawas Bay. It was peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing. A short walk to Tawas Point Lighthouse only one mile away. Beautiful view of the Bay Area. Thank you for letting us visit!

East Tawas Cabin

We enjoyed the little cabin within walking distance to Tawas Point State Park. We had breakfasts at Barnacle Bill’s, lunch at Tawas Pizza Company, and walked the park trails twice. Beautiful area. The cabin was small, and cozy and we used the outdoor fire pit and indoor fire stove. It was a very nice family trip.

Didn't expect when check out time clean showers mop floors and change beds!!!

Love the place very nice but clean windows and make sure doors will lock. Maybe I'll charge Maid service when we leave!! Sorry

Easy to book, very nice customer service, comfortable cottages with a pretty good beach

I was very happy with these cottages. From the start it was very easy to book with them, and the price isn't too bad either. The cottage itself is very cozy and heats up really quick. The owners were also very quick to respond to any questions we had even later in the evening.

Beach living

Very cozy cottage perfect for getting away from city hassle beach was very clean and only a couple of feet walk I would definitely recommend going and we plan on going back

Perfect spot for family

Love this place... this was our 2nd trip to this location. Last time we stayed at a different cabin. Love the beach here...the kids can play in the water and it very shallow for a ways out. its perfect for families.

Perfect up north experience

This place is perfect for a up north experience, plenty of room in the cabin, everything you need in the kitchen, great beach! So close to everything, will definitely becoming back!

Decent cabin with a beautiful view

The cabin was small, but adequate. The beach is nice and the view of the water is beautiful. It was somewhat clean but it’s definitely an old cabin and it doesn’t appear much cleaning is done in between guests. Overall, our group had a great time and the cabin met our needs. Being right on the water was a huge plus!

On Lake Huron

Nice cabins with a good-sized beach. Rustic with a small kitchen, but totally adequate. Lots of electrical outlets. However, if you prefer clean, choose another venue. Not even the mirrors had been cleaned. There were food scraps on one of the dressers. It was quite obvious that this place did not have a deep clean in a VERY Long time. Cobwebs and layers of dust everywhere. When we vacuumed before we left, the stench from the vacuum was nauseating. Sure hope we get our deposit back.
