"Great spot for skiing at Hunter. Clean rooms, safe feel. Breakfast at 6 is very convenient. They also fixed up the two level 2 J1772 chargers which is helpful for EV owners as well."

"My room was clean with fresh sheets and duvet on a comfortable bed. I loved the walk-in ceramic shower. The curtains show a little wear but that did not bother me. The location cannot be surpassed as you can walk to many restsurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again. There are some renovations going on, but again, that did not bother me. The owner was most cordial and welcoming. I did not try the included breakfast because I was exhausted and slep in the first morning. The 2nd morning I had a 6:17 a.m. train so I missed it again. I did look over the dining area and saw plenty of cereal and a spotless waffle maker. Either of those would have suited me. On first approach, don't be put off by the large front window full of construction materials. You should not compare this property with Hilton or Marriott, else you will be disappointed. But you are paying $300 a night, either just for a place to rest or sleep and shower. In the end, it is what you are comfortable with and what you are willing to pay for. I will definitely return for another stay."

"Excellent all around. My husband and I take at least one trip up to the Catskills area per year, but it’s usually twice, and this is the best hotel we’ve experienced. Service was lovely. Especially enjoyed the included breakfast with excellent coffee and plenty of options. Unbelievable water pressure in the bathrooms. Very close to Hunter for skiing, which was the draw for us this particular trip, and lots of hiking trails nearby. Cozy game room and fireplace in the evening. Only con/tip if you book would be to avoid room #1 if you can, as it’s the only room on the first floor and we endured very loud footsteps above us early in the morning. "
