"My family and I stayed for a week. The over all cleanliness of the cottage was ok. There was a problem in the primary bedroom with mouse droppings, they were everywhere including on the bed. My daughter in law dealt with it and cleaned the room. The water was yellow but cleared a bit after a few days. The cottage is close to several amenities. The water access was not ideal for small children."

"We enjoyed the cottage! Our host Sherri got in touch to ensure that we had a way to get to the cottage as it’s water access only. We arrived to a neat and tidy place. Swimming off the dock was enjoyed by our youngest who is 4 and our oldest at 17!! Fishing from the dock or picking any location on Ravens lake with either the row boat, canoe or kayak (all provided) was awesome for all of us! The lake is a good size to cruise in the boat and just explore and we also did some tubing. Very friendly...

"After a very rocky start, our family weekend turned out to be a very good time. We had been given the wrong lock box code and wifi address/password, so we couldn't get into the property or contact the owner. Luckily a neighbour across the street was very kind, and allowed me to come in and use her wifi, so I could send a note to the owner through the site. "The long private driveway lead to a fantastic home. Entering the home, we were greeted with an immaculately kept home. The grounds were huge and well kept. Our dog really enjoyed themselves. "We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house, only two issues, BBQ was in need of a clean, only used it once due to this. Water pressure was terrible, especially as there were 8 adults all having showers so that was challenging. Location on river was lovely, we had a fire every night, it was lovely to relax and unwind."

"What an amazing place. Located right on the lake with your own mini beach and dock to jump off. I loveed the split with bedroom being upstairs with the fantastic lake view. Very comfortable queen bed and a great tiled shower with lots of hot water! Great bonus besides the bbq and firepit (wood supplied) were the stars at night, it's been a very long time since i've seen the Milkyway and that many. Definitely a bookmark and a place I'll be going back too!!"

"We loved our stay @thehausontheriver. When we arrived it was very clean and there was a cute little welcome gift left for us. It had everything we needed and more. The host was so great with communication and made sure we were able to get in and didn’t need anything else. I loved the little binder of FYIs about the cottage - made it easy for us.
